What you sais is that the average american wkows what is what. Those were your exact words and so, are you refering to my ideology os understanding what it is that you mean? What is "what". At least now you are accepting that there is no such thing as the "average" american. So if we are using so much subjective definitions we should at least qualify them. Is that the ideology you mean?
You talk about american elitism and make a good argument but maybe we can talk about it after you acknowledge that there was such a thing as the "manifest destiny" dictating a westward move and killing great numbers of your ancestry of native americans. Also just before WW2 the USA did not allow jewish people to come into the country as a matter of policy. That is just two little examples but after you do your research and accept that we can go to the elitism thingy.
I can't do anything about your belief on the other two issues, that the US tricked Saddam Hussein into invading Iraq and that some of the characters fighting him now were deeply involved in their [Iraq's] production of chemical weapons. I guess that it actually shows how so many well intended people (Americans) are really good people and can't conceive that some can be war profiteers, just as berg was a religious profiteer.
