There are options now to depression. Some are to treat it, some are to pray it away, and if that works fine and if it doesn't then there is the option to get help or to end things. But to end things is permanent. It is something that cannot be undone once that line is crossed.
I hope you get help because I believe all of us that need it DESERVE it and we are WORTH it.
Typical signs of depression are a sense of worhtlessness, helplessness, hopelessness, insomnia or sleeping too much, struggling to "make it thru" another day. Major depression is very serious and is life threatening. it occurs when some of these symptoms and others occur over a period of time without letting up. Often there are suicidal thoughts, self-destructive behaviors. It is a real LIFE THREATENING PHYSICAL illness, just like diabetes and cancer. And there are treatments.
Anyway, I am not a Dr. nor will I pretend to be, but the situation sounds serious and unrelenting. I hope that you get help. You do not have to live with so much pain.
I am sure there are some here that would help you find out how and where resources are for medical care if you choose it. I hope you do.
Not treating depression is like refusing insulin if you are diabetic. You will feel like crap and can DIE. I hope you don't.
