I was thinking about that too

About how at the age of some of the older people, what would they do if they left? There is nothing they can do but continue on in the missionary/charity/volunteer mode. If they could just get out from underneath Maria's stranglehold and tutelage, they'd be a lot better off. They have to be able to realize they simply do not need her and the F. is not the endtime elitist christian group they think it is. Where's heaven's girl? What happened to that? I was reading some of Berg's rantings on that, about what a money maker that pub was going to be and how much everyone is just wild over the story. What a prophet, now it's banned. How many mistakes will be made before they wake up to what they are wasting and not really profiting. As George was pointing out on NDN, there have been tons of endtime cultic groups from way before we were ever even born. It's a real good handle to use to keep people on the edge and depending on the hierarchy to keep them in the so-called loop. A friend I recently got together with was reminiscing with me about how in 1992 they all got together for NY's eve - you know how that was. They were anticipating the latest from the great prophet and what does he say? "This is it - the end is finally here" - well, maybe he was predicting his own death, I'll give him credit for that, but the end was finally here. That's what they've been saying since 1969.
