You are not alone. I also feel the way you do having had similar experiences. Guilt, shame and anger at times to be sure. I did not get off so lightly regarding wounds and scars. Be that as it may one scar is one too many. I figure it is like removing tatoos. We are ripping the colored skin of the family lie off layer by layer. It hurts and a patch of funny looking eraser-like skin remains afterwards. A long drawn out process of repeated plastic surgery for the soul perhaps. Sometimes I think I'm like the kid who found a wierd bomb, didn't know what the hell it was and couldn't wait to bring it home to share the discovery with his friends.
