Omar, I read your letter and I couldn't believe it! If I read you correctly, you're saying that the Family was "OK in the good old days" and that Grandpa was a great man of God "in the good old days" but that the problems came when people got into the letter of the law about following his teachings and being the Family of Love instead of the "good old days" Children of God.

THAT'S GREAT that you agree Grandpa got hopelessly off track, Omar! I'm glad you don't agree with SGAs being tortured in Victor Camps! I'm glad you don't agree with loving Grandpa having sex with his own granddaughter, Merry Berg. I'm glad you don't agree with adults having sex with children! I'm glad you don't agree with SGAs being so stressed that they commit suicide!

But have you forgotten that the "good old boy from the good old days" who implemented all these horrible things was "good old Grandpa"? Have you never read James Penn's articles about Berg molesting his granddaughter?

You can't even go back to the "good old days" Omar and say it was all fine there, cause Berg was having sex with his own daughters before the movement began in Huntington Beach. This is the man who founded the movement. The bad tree grew out of his bad roots.

O sure, Berg did some good...... So did Hitler. Did you know that the trains ran on time in Germany? He fed the poor in soup kitchens. People had good-paying jobs in munitions factories.

If you or your friends were ever sent to a Victor Camp, remember that it was "good old Grandpa" who started the Victor Camps. And when SGA Tony said why can't our kids climb trees and have fun like normal kids, "good old Grandpa" rebuked him on and on and on in front of the whole world. He wrote under Tony's picture,"Break'm!"

Good old days? Good old Granpa? I think not.
