I don't think there is one single subject that is more confusing and that could divide the already divided ex-members more that the Jewish issue. I think Jewish thinkers with a burning desire for truth would find it easier to get into it and tell it like it is and tell us what's what both pro and against without the fear of been called anti-Jewish. From the little I know about the issue it looks like a real labyrinth. I knew a very nice and refined Armenian lady familiar with the conspiracy theories who was convinced it was all the Jews. I could not make a statements like that. But I don't want to be too slow in smelling the coffee if that turns out to be the case. I hope I did not already say anything I shouldn't have said. On the other hand there are some specific issues about the Jews that can be discussed and I wouldn't mind adding my two cents. I have written a book about the Maccabbees and I have nothing but admiration for them. But soon thereafter the Pharasses rose to power, the Saducces eventually were no longer around and the Pharasses as far as I can see have controlled the Jewish life ever since. And they have said some horrible things about Jesus. In fact if anybody doubts the historisity of Jesus they should read the Talmud. Then the Caballa became a very strong force in Jewish life, and the Caballa is just Jewish occult. So when we are talking about Judaism we are not talking about the Old Tesement religion of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob but something very different, a real perversion of the Jewish religion. Now there may be many many Jews who have a solid faith in their God, I don't know, it's hard to tell looking in from the outside. That's why I say, someone on the inside can see all the details and get a much better picture. Sam Ajemian
