Thanks for the explanation. When I got involved with this community, I already knew about most of the sexual stuff, but I had no idea about the degree of hatred Berg expressed toward Jews.
It is easy enough to dismiss Berg as a lunatic. But, when I run into otherwise sane and rational ex-members who do not believe the Holocaust, it really shocks me. Jane worked for a number of years at the Jewish Home for the Aging here in Southern California. She had paitents who were survivors, and had the tatoos to prove it. I certainly don't think those poor old people, some near 100 years old at the time were lying about having their entire family wiped out. We're talking Mother, Father, Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
The same people who think the Jews dreamed up the Holocaust are the same ones who think we ran our own planes into the WTC and Pentagon.
