Well- since I have not posted much here until recently, will be glad to take this "hint" to introduce myself a little, ha!

I joined the Family in 1976 in France and was on a Babe's Ranch when the King Arthur letters first came out, and we were told they only applied to leaders.

I left the Family after about a year in France, returned to the States, and rejoined shortly thereafter. In early 1978 in Washington State I got married and probably had my only "true" FFing experience, when we went to a lounge and I met a young Libyan pilot who I witnessed to, ended up having sex with, and who prayed with me.

Shortly thereafter, I got pregnant and deeply involved for some time in childcare. My ex and I lived in California and, after the RNR in 1976, we remained TRF'ers but lived on our own or with just one other family quite a bit until we went to Venezuela in 1983. There I was once again deeply involved in childcare. We at one time lived for a little in Venezuela while with one couple who were active FF'ers, but generally we were doing other things. In 1986 we went to Puerto Rico for 3 years where we had a large witnessing/school home and I was busy with the school. One sister there had a longstanding "fish" who helped to support the Home but in general most income came from litnessing, tapenessing, etc.

In 1986 we moved to Southern Texas where I worked as a CRO secretary for a while off an on. By this time, FF'ing was about over and had given way to DF'ing after the AIDS scare.

To make a long story short, later on, I spent some time in Mexico, once again at a CRO Home as a secretary, at a large Teen/School home, and a small witnessing home, returned to Texas for a while, and eventually left the Family when living in San Antonio.

Over the 23 years, I had six kids, one of whom, the oldest, is still in the Family, married with 2 kids. The next two kids are now in college and the younger three are doing well in school and thriving.

So that's my story in a very tiny nutshell. I personally did not have any of the extremely awful experiences I have heard others have had. I had my share of ups and downs over the years and disagreements with others, but do not honestly harbor a whole lot of bitterness about it all. If I had it to do over again, no way would I join the Family, but the past is past.
