well, my dear, it depends on the product you use.
Permanent color will achieve best result (as opposed to semi-permanent or just a colorwash)
....wait a minute...what color are we talking about? (You wouldn't want to go blond? Nah, not with your Greek complexion? :-o)
You mentioned something about black to blue, but dear, it sounds a bit too punkish and I just would not do that if I were you.
