And there were some letters that were simply appalling to me and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why everyone else seemed to lap them up (of course, now I know not everyone did but just couldn't say anything). Those type of letters really rubbed me raw - especially IRFers Beware in particular. That's when I started really losing it and not wanting to believe that Berg had any sort of annointing but I couldn't find any support. Then there was the Girl Who Wouldn't and since I knew Toni, the whole letter seemed so unfair. I couldn't understand why men had to be like that, but since my first husband was very much like that as well, I figured the problem was with me. Now I understand the problem was with Berg and not us. It took a long time to be able to say that without feeling like God was going to harm my children or something awful if I openly stated that or even admitted to myself.
