Not long before Aaron went to Geneva, he and Miguel were in Paris. Sometimes he and Shula tayed with Becky and Miguel at an apt in Paris where I used to go for provisioning calls because the place had a phone. Once when I was there, Aaron got upset and he took off on his own sometimes. We two "bottom of the totem pole" provisioners were asked to go with Miguel with our van to look for him in the neighborhood. Another time he ended up in the middle of nowhere in France after getting on a train.
I've been to the Salève and to Aaron's grave. He could have fallen, or he could have just stayed out too long after dark, gotten off the trail. It probably was below freezing. Often when someone's depressed, they can make the accident happen.
