1. You are not actually saying it but suggest that missionary is "one who goes" as we were told in the Family who also say that those who stayed in (support people) were also "going". That was aimed at childcare workers, secretaries, etc. all WS who had to be "selah".

The truth is that parenting and spending time teaching one's own children, supporting them as they grow up in their own family with their own parents whose love they so desperately need (in spite of how loving the child care workers may be in that other home around the globe) that is also missionary work if the parent is truly doing to the children the type of teaching and ministering they should be doing.

It's irking to hear the ridiculous idea promoted by Berg and other cults saying that one must leave his/her own children to go somewhere else and teach some one else's children. Berg himself also taught that if you cannot be a missionary in your own backyard (to use your own words) don't think that going around the globe or somewhere else will do it. That just goes to show his hypocrisy and manipulative tactics of making contradictory statements so that he could use those suiting his perverted intentions later.

2. Education is knocked down by the Family and many fundamentalist protestant denominations (not only Christian, by the way). I am inclined to believe that it is because it facilitates control of their populations through ignorance. Look at the Family and the ignorance they are sowing and the control they are also sowing, they go hand in hand. Wonder why?

Education, especially higer education, is supposed to challenge one's belief. If one's faith in God is so weak and clumsy that will not stand a little provocation, then I have to say one needs the power of the Holy Ghost. Nothing like confronting our own belief to come out stronger and with stronger convictions in those beliefs. That is the job of education.

So your daughter did very well and has gained a jewell of great price. I hear that Calculus and Physics are the thoughest ones.
