I saw it. The most succinct statement, imo, was when this lady comes to the door of the Smart parents and says something like : 'Your child is alive, he doesn't murder them. He kills their spirits and takes their souls.'(Speaking of the perpetrator)
Yes, she is a definite survivor in the Stockholm Syndrome sense.
