I'm not sure what assumptions I was making though. I do know that adopting a child costs thousands & thousands of dollars. Given the Family's horrible track record with dumping entire families because they 'have too many children' why would they turn around then & spend tens of thousands to adopt a child?
As for whether it's against Family policies, I don't think it's a written policy because it never needed to be. Everyone knows the Family does not adopt except in a few rare occasions many years ago.
