I know. I just personally don't think it has done many of the kids much good to be exploited the way they are, and then thrown out with the garbage once they hit puberty. Just in the last several days, Jonathan Brandis hung himself.
I've been a member of the Screen Actor's Guild for over 20 years, and have had Agents talk to me about getting my kids in the business. I've always said "NO". Kids should be kids.
I'm not trying to say that child Actors have it worse than kids in The Family. I'm just saying that children should not be put in a situation where they have to work full time.
