I remember stuff like that all too well. You never knew what you were going to get in trouble for. Then they started this attitude that if your children were ever naughty (they were supposed to be perfect?) it was due to the parents' wicked spiritual state and they would separate us to fast and pray. How unhealthy of an environment for families can one get. I'm never so happy as to be with my children in complete freedom to enjoy them as I wish.
