At the end you said "I hope that helps." Thanks for that, it helps me a lot.

About the "countenance" issue... please do forgive us SGs (those of us who now realize how blind we were) for that and for so many other things that denied you any room for individuality. We raised you with doctrines that demeaned any notion of self. We followed these same teachings ourselves, and with an aberrant distorted idealism maintaining us in our beliefs, we taught you according to the blueprints we were given by Berg, Zerby, and Co. We believed you, our children, to be the "improvement on the stock", that you would be the "greatest force of evangelism the world has ever seen", "the proof of the pudding", doing "signs and wonders against the evil AC forces", "God's leaders in the End Time", "Heaven's Boys and Heaven's Girls". The issues about countenance, the demerit system, and then the Victor camps, etc, all of it came down from the top. I don't say this to excuse myself for having mindlessly followed it. Today, in order to be able to look at myself in the mirror with a healthy measure of self worth, I'm obliged to accept the past because it can't be changed, I forgive myself, and when given the opportunity, such as now, I ask for forgiveness.
