After reading this post I reread the guidelines for "naming names" for this site , and it appears to me this may be going contrary to the intent of this policy. Personally, I believe there is good reason to be circumspect on this issue. Wouldn't it seem best to allow the victim to tell her own story, if and when and in what forum she chooses? It would seem obvious that many lives stand to be impacted by such postings, including children who may already be struggling w/ the institional abuse they suffered as SG's in this group. Thought for the overall repercussions for all parties , ought to be considered. There doesn't seem to be any hint in what I've read here that such action is necessary to prevent any future risk . I am not a first hand party to this matter, but can't help but sense the gravity for all concerned on the way this thing seems to be going. Tragedies can be greatly compounded unless careful consideration is given. SG's who choose to take legal action of course should have that right. But shouldn't they also have the right to forgive and choose to focus elsewhere if they choose? Jesse's feelings are completely understandable. But ultimately the goal ought to be healing, shouldn't it? Perhaps his daughter, from what I read here now an adult in her 30's, knows the path that is best for her.

As exmembers of a highly destructive organization we all know all too well the devastation that can result from it's tragic teachings. And our own decisions to follow them. O God, what a mess. I certainly don't know the answers to these questions. But I do feel that a little reflection here might not hurt.
