This is a really good question. I asked something similar about a year ago on the Academic board, and someone replied that there's likely to be second gen folk who have first-hand knowledge about Zerby & Berg's relationship.
So...you've read this gem. Is the business about Berg sleeping with a little girl framed in the "family bed" rationale, where Dave & Karen just don't have room and resources to give the kid her own sleeping space?
