The man's name is Winkie Pratney (a New Zealander, I think). He knew Grandmother Berg; used to take all of the Berg kids out witnessing, but says that Jonathan and Paul were self-righteous and know-it-all.
It was already evident that DB had sexual issues, as he had been confronted about ogling, and even pinching the behinds of teenage girls who came to his Bible studies. Several leaders of the Teen Challenge group, including Pratney, were there for the "Declaration of War Against the System". Afterwards, he says, they had a meeting to discuss how to deal with the fallout. None of them believed DB was any kind of man of God. They just rolled their eyes and said, "Boy, does this guy have some problems!"
Winkie Pratney is still involved with Christian youth work, and has written several books.
