We always thought of him as a little eccentric. There's a comedy show here called MadTV and they used to do these comedy skits on him. Someone dressed up as he and his wife would be out in the jungle sweet talking some deadly animal who would start chewing on different body parts and they'd be still sweet talking while they were bleeding and all. It was really funny. I guess he had comic value, but it's not so funny when he involves his child.
