David Berg's granddaughter and two daughters have stated that he engaged in genital contact with them as children. Did Berg ever admit to Karen Zerby that he had sexual contact with his children or grandchild?

Karen Zerby reportedly lived with Berg as his wife at the time Merry Berg claims sexual contact with her grandfather took place. Was Karen Zerby aware that "Grandpa" was engaging in sexual contact with his granddaughter? Did Merry Berg ever disclose this allegation to the adults in the household?

Why would TF leadership want to answer questions about Berg's pedophilia truthfully? After all, if Zerby admits the allegations by Deborah and Faith are true, she would be admitting that "God's End-Time Prophet" raped children. Hardly an endorsement for his sanctity, is it?

Only, of course, if you also believe that God approves of raping children when one is motivated by a "pure spirit of love." Will Family leadership please state in plain English that Berg did indeed endorse the sexual violation of children in his letters to the faithful? (What they're on the record as saying is that some mistaken followers misinterpreted "controversial" ideas set forth by Berg, who never intended that these "ideas" be applied. Never mind that he also gave clear evidence of practicing what he preached.)

If Zerby admits Merry's allegations are true, she incriminates herself as a participant in Berg's sexual violation of a child. If Zerby admits that letters she co-authored with Berg endorsed the sexual violation of children, she also implicates herself as a perpetrator. TF leadership may be criminal, but they're not stupid about what they risk by coming clean.

Frankly, I'm not interested in hearing more of TF's obfuscation of Berg's pedophilia and Zerby's explicit support of child sexual abuse. The objective evidence (Mo letters, written testimony of victims, testimony of eye witnesses) provides overwhelming support for the allegation of pedophilia. TF leadership is satisfied that they've covered themselves legally regarding the promotion of pedophilia in the response and position they took in the early 1990s.

We'll see how long their refusal to speak directly to these allegations holds up. The worm has yet to turn.
