I totally relate to what you say about getting to a point where you don't have to burn the candle at both ends. I think I'm getting to that point. For the past few years I really had to hustle and put in the time to make the grade, but now that things are starting to happen, I still have to work hard to make sure that I don't get lax and lose my edge.
Sometimes we really have to push to play catch-up for a few years, I know a lot of exmembers do --especially if they have lots of kids and have to jump into minimum-wage jobs at first just to survive-- but I don't like working that hard forever. But thank God it is getting easier now. It just takes a while.
