Anneke made a mistake hobnobbing with Grant

As far as I know she has genuinely helped many people leaving the Family & opened her home to many. I think the good she has done speaks for her & in that one respect she has showed what she values by putting her money & room & board on the line. There are a number of people she's helped. But yes, as I recall when Grant was angry at this board for saying FCF was a Family front (which it is) he said Anneke told him he ought to sue the board. My impression is she said that in confidence to him & never expected to be quoted in public by Grant, which is what he did however.

I think she was trying to walk the tightrope in the middle & was maybe hoping to woo Grant out of the Family. But I don't think you can do that with Family leaders, only with the rank&file little guys. My best guess is that she maybe wanted Grant & FCF to break with the Family & to become separate & so was trying to 'protect' FCF. But both Grant & FCF are beyond hope of rescuing or coming clean & I think Anneke realizes that now.

What she said about telling Grant to sue this board was probably her mouth in motion before her brain engaged. I think she probably regrets that now. I'm not trying to excuse her for saying that but just looking at the big picture of what she has done to help others, weighing it all in the balance.
