Anneke, first of all I appreciate you coming here and attempting to make amends. I can’t speak for all the coordinators as we are a very diverse group and each of us were affected at different levels by your actions and words, some considerably more than others. I can’t speak for them, I guess they’ll respond to you when they’ve had time to read and process your letter. I don’t know their schedules except that some of them are away now. Obviously, I can’t speak for the two former coordinators either, but I assume they’ll read your apology and contact you if they wish.

But speaking for myself, thank you for your apology and for publicly acknowledging that you were in the wrong and that your actions were damaging. I feel that it will be the beginning of healing. Of course, there are still unanswered questions that I’d like cleared up. If you’d be willing to dialogue that would be very helpful. Apart from the pain of feeling betrayed, understanding what happened also takes some processing.

The biggest question I have is what were you trying to accomplish? Did you know from the beginning or not that FCF was linked to the Family, that it was a legal entity created to raise funds for Family Homes, individuals and projects? You wrote, "I am not stupid and I knew apples for apples but I also had feelings and friendships getting in the way so I said some dumb things." Is this what you were talking about, that you knew from the beginning that FCF was linked to the Family and raised funds to support it?

If you DID know that FCF was a legal entity created to raise funds for Family individuals, Homes and projects, then why did you write to Grant saying that the coordinators of this board needed to "back up their accusations" that FCF was linked to the Family, or else remove the text? Why did you and Ron feel that Grant of FCF would be right to take legal action against the coordinators of this board unless we removed the link? Grant--whose day is coming very soon--quotes your e-mail where you said:

“I believe that the actual name of FCF should be removed from there and the actual appendages
of FCF ... if the writers wanted to keep this info public and on the record, that it should be modified. Unless someone can back up the accusations in so far as FCF goes then, again, that name and all of the organizations borne directly from FCF need to be removed from that list. I actually think it is not very wise of them to put blanket statements up without backing up the facts and you are right. It is slanderous. I don't blame you for being upset. Love, Anneke. THEN a P.S. -- "I told Ron about our conversation. He feels you have grounds to threaten legal action if this isn't retracted."

My intention is not to drag you through the mud on this issue, as I understand that you are now sorry for having written this. What I want to do is ask you to explain why you wrote that to Grant. If you didn’t know FCF was linked to the Family, how did you NOT know? As you say, you do know apples from apples. If you did know, why did you write the above?

You may feel that you have explained this already, but your writing is sometimes a bit scattered and hard to follow (no offense intended), especially when it is not even divided into paragraphs, so I'd appreciate further clarification. Thank you in advance.
