Susie, you're welcome, I didn't think of being much of a help & felt sorry about that...maybe it gets read by other members who were there at the time & thankfully the coordinators of these boards here wanted also to start a section, where we could look for people, we want to hear from.A big thank you at this place from me!!!!!
The white book was for one thing called this way, since the covers were white, most likely being printed there, a collection, a summary of the many
meetings Gary held there.I think when he arrived, I was at the end of my stay in Nepal, we went then to Italy, but leadership, who got invited to the meetings oooohed & aaahed about them & shared their notes.I think they held also kind of boottraining camps for the nationals & for "law & order & discipline" they had German Michael (Micah) of Deborah...so they were on "their" way to further shape things up to their liking;it was probably very soon after that, that Combos were set up & I was amazed at the amount of couples who split up either permanent or on "probation".So anyone who wanted to get rid of a mate, had quite a "golden opportunity", as they "ran in" open doors.I guess disciplining got tougher too & I think the idea was, to implement first the Combo idea on the mission field among the more obedient followers, from where it then had to spread to the northern countries, also as many people returned from the fields.People who didn't pan out in either way were easily shipped back to their homecountry, somewhere Judah must have gotten there in a "mill" I assume.
Even before the Mene-letter came out, I remember leadership in Delhi on a GAFM came to the conclusion to be more militant against evil (also among the members, including oneself)...I remember a couple, she Sandinavian/Finnish??, him? being
heavily dealt with, I guess they supected some demon bothering her or whatever, but they heavily shouted at her, it caused me to wake up at night!!!

In a way it was over with a TF I could still "rock along" with & be comfortable. When we returned 89 my
deep joy about India as a missionfield was somehow gone, I was really perplexed about it.When our son got sick, some type of bronchitis, we planned to have a doctor check on him, it was finally allowed, but looked down upon.I mentioned the kid in the same home, who was deaf as a result of a meningitis case...the ministry to the deaf in Delhi got started by a mother, who also had a deaf son. When I asked the homeshepherd about that, he suggested, that since then the faith of TF has grown so much more.Really????....well, that's another story.

All to say, it wasn't so "easygoing" anymore on a anyway tough field...before that I saw seperations as rare exceptions, couples really stayed together & that was simply normal for me!!!!I figure things must have gotten from bad to worse...probably too much for Judah to cope with...also since the world can be quite cruel, things mounted up.
In short, the white book: What Gary had to share,
Gary's gems...how to shape up...have kids as a common responsibility, fosterparents, obedience to the letters & blah, blah...it's a long time I don't remember much he had to share...Wish you all the best possible!!!
