Ray, I've experienced the same thing & sometimes it's due to the computer crashing in the middle of a post. If you lose a 2-minute thought it's no big deal, but losing long posts is painful. A suggestion to avoid losing those long well-thought out posts (if you know that's what you're working on) is to type it out on a file on your computer itself, then cut & paste it online. That way if you accidentally send it into cyber-space, you still have it on file.
How's your book coming, by the way?
