is get a restraining order. That facilitates the police to arrest him or get him away from you if you have an order in hand. I understand that now they are free, you don't even have to pay for them. At least here in the states (not sure where you are). That's the first step, then you start contacting the police whenever he gets near you. Of course, you must be careful, not knowing the situation, there is the possibility that getting a restraining order could tick this person off even more. You will have to tell us more info before anyone could advise you.
