I'll keep my ear to the ground, although we don't exactly travel in some of the same circles that we used to.
When we first arrived on the boards a few years back, we had no contact with ex-members. We had contact with some current members, and pretty much believed what we were told. At that time there was not a lot of organized material available, and it was difficult to figure out what had actually happened in the nearly twenty years that Jane had been gone from the cult.
But, with the amount of material that is available now, there is no way that a reasonable, thinking person could draw any other conclusion than that the whole thing is rotten to the core.
Reading an account like that, just makes my stomach turn. That was nothing but pure evil, and the people who tried to sweep it under the rug are as well.
