Well, when my dad was in TF, all the crazy things were going on... FFing, child-sex, Berg's letters about incest, etc. My dad just has an all-around, rose-colored glasses when it comes to TF.

Also, my dad did not leave entirely willingly. Shepherds here in Miami thought that it would be best for my family to leave the state because (1) We were too messy; (2) We could not contribute much to the Home-- in cleaning and with money, because we were too man ourselves; and (3) We took all of the good litnessing spots-- they felt there was not enough space for us. Well, at that time, my parents could not raise the money to leave to another state, so we lived on the outskirts of TF for a little while, with another family that was in a similar situation. Anyway, my dad eventually got a system job. When we enrolled in public school, it solidified our exit from TF.

I have come to the realization that my dad is just irrational when it comes to TF. As for more elaborate explanations to why he does not rejoin, I am not entirely sure. Maybe part of it is because he was remarried, and another part of it his age. That hasn't stopped him from helping TF and encouraging his children to join. My younger sister recently rejoined. That made my dad's century, I think. Anyway, I don't think he will ever wake up and see TF and Berg for what they really are/were.
