I agree with you on this one. As a Christian considering what's happening in the world and Iraq in the war on terror, I could almost care less with whether Bush is a Christian or not. I feel Afghanistan was justified and beleived there were WMD in Iraq and believed that Saddam would eventually pass the on to Al Queida, so though my better instincts should have gone against an invasion of Iraq, I felt it was a necessary evil. Especially since Saddam was such a monster and brutalizing his people.

But I do feel Bush has botched Iraq so horribly and that with all those billions spent on "fighting terror" that the world is literally an UNsafer place now to live in. A LOT unsafer as a matter of fact. if we pulled out of Iraq tomorrow it has already spawned so many new terrorists that they'll be on our doorstep for many years bombing and attacking us in America.

The question is: would ANY president have managed the situation better if they had invaded Iraq? Probably not. This is one horrible situation. In this case, Bush being a Christian is a black eye.

At least the gang of soldiers in that prison were were beating up prisoners and the girl who was gang-banging her entire group of male soldiers did not claim to be Christians. But you think Iraquis will notice the difference? I doubt it.

As much as I think Saddam was a monster and had to be removed, it seems the invasion of Iraq was by hindsight, a terrible miscalculation that will cost us for many years to come.
