Thanks for your concern Cautioner. I have considered some, though perhaps not all, of the risks involved in providing my email and of going public on this site. I'm willing to take those risks and if there are crazies out there who want to mess with me then hopefully I'll know how to handle that. My immediate concern was that if there are members who are urgently in need of help to leave and there is anything I can do to help I would like to. As naive as this sounds, I'm hopeful my good intentions won't be taken advantage of.
To the coordinators: I welcome discussing with you ways in which you think I can be helpful. You're right that mentioning my law degree will attract attention. People often think it means that I will have all the answers to their legal problems and they usually don't hesitate in laying them all out for me, ha! There are limits to what I'll be able to do and advice I'll be able to give, but I'll do what I can.
