“You talkin’ to me” is a Taxi Driver reference. De Niro? Ah "fugget about it".

All I can say to the above weasely reply is a big fat WHATEVER!! If anyone believes you were talking about Laz I have a nice bridge for sale. And yes, when making insinuations about something I have said, I think a nice disclaimer like "This comment excludes Jules" would be lovely, thank you.

I gave your accusations a think and it dawned on me as to what this is about. We covered all of this already exactly a year ago:

Look, I am sorry that I don’t support Sam A. and his crusade. It’s a free country and he can do whatever he wants but so can I. I’m sorry that you seem to think that means “there [is] so much fight against naming names” or that anyone “at the same time work to protect the criminals”.

I decided to no longer associate in any way with Sam a number of years ago, when he took a young SG exmember who was an incest survivor and suffering from a debilitating mental illness and tried to get them to confront their abuser on Jerry Springer. The horrific harm that could have done to this person speaks for itself.

I believe that victims need a safe place to tell their own stories in their own words and their own time and on their own terms. Sam has made it quite clear that he will not grant that to me or anyone. I think I have already disclosed quite enough of my personal story publicly thank you and just because he demands that I tell him the gory details of my abuse does not mean that I have any obligation to do so.

The bottom line is that I believe we own our stories, he thinks he does. I believe the rights and welfare of the individual should come first, he thinks that these can be sacrificed for the “greater good” as he sees it.

We could go on, but I do not see the point in rehashing any of this. Optimist, I stand by my statement that your attack was uncalled for and very offensive. You seem to agree with Sam and I do not. Why not just agree to disagree and leave me alone?
