I know what you mean by "getting down into the gutter". I've deliberately put off reading this and similar works, but Carol's various comments about the book spurred me to action. After all, who better to see through TF's tricks and PR spin than us former members. Carol's already identified some serious flaws with the book. What I'm doing is writing down my reaction to various statements and passages as I read them. This slows down the reading process, but it will be a more thorough response.
