I do agree with this. I've wondered sometimes about those who claim irresponsibility due to brainwashing, because where does that end? What I mean by this is that in that train of thought, everyone from Maria on down has been brainwashed. Do these same people then want to absolve Maria and all of these top leaders too? Because that is what it means. If you claim brainwashing defence, then it's all or nothing, and the only one left to blame is Berg who is dead, and, gee, I guess that's the end of it!
