"This board offers a friendly atmosphere where you can talk freely about your ideas, thoughts, problems, politics...

When discussing issues of a religious or spiritual nature, please use the Journeys board

All opinions are welcome. Well, almost all opinions."

How about focussing on these genx definitions for a moment?????...takes some time though...

Then you could read what I partly said in a post above to Susie...also takes some time

"I am not 100% sure, whether I deviated from the def. (that's why I liked math in the first place, adhering to some set of axioms, agreed beforehand,
plus being crystal clear)

Now the def. IMO leaves room for "stretching" it...
Ideas, thoughts, problems, opinions are in "my world" something spiritual, not merely materialistic or due to some lone biochemical procedure, although involving it.
My thoughts still follow some, lets say biblical
thoughtpattern...therefore to ask of me to comment totally free of that kind of "world", would not be very realistically...I shouldn't offend others in their mindset, true, however I "feel" very comfortable & well in mine & by nature I hate to pretend something...so I name "horse, saddle & rider"..."

you can read the whole in my post...

Now I didn't start at Gen EX a topic: How do you see the consequences of the trinitarian view vs.
arianism as far as your day to day life is concerned...
A pretty religious subject, too theoretical at the moment for my liking, however it could be argued, also with some consequences for your life...
or lets take something more "handy", how about the communion, last supper, do you believe to practice it the reformed or the lutheran or the catholic way...it could mean, for you to be excluded from it in some churches.
Here is a religious subject with practical consequences, but I guess, people would like to discuss that at journeys or academic!!

I argued: thoughts are also something spiritual, do you deny that, Acheick???

Logical consequence: E v e r y subject would then have to be discussed at journeys...don't you think, that's a bit of a scream.I would like your response to that!!!
My point, my compromise, some topics are sooooo religious by nature, that you can hardly think of another board then journeys (or academic). However, as you noticed at soapbox, maybe???, religious viewpoints - your faith, thoughtpattern - also influence the posts about politics... so you can hardly avoid bringing those thoughts into discussion. Also, did you notice, how Jules quoted a string of old testament verses to make a super valid point IMO (about the beheadings)...now how is that, would you like to tell Jules, to please move over to the journey-section??????

I mean, all that for my personal opinions about some songs & at the end - like most woman,I know, do - you laugh it off...easy way out.
I mean, I can't laugh about you girls, I find that at this point quite sad, I must say so!!!
