Carol:

There you go again with that assumed certainty!

How about citing your sources, or even saying that your opinion about higher form criticism, and your liberal theology assumptions are just that, opinions and assumptions. Your position is highly debatable, but it is yours; of that I have no doubt--always enjoy your posts!

Some people see differently, or even KNOW differently; noam sain?

By the way, since when are agnosticism anad atheism NOT religions, with unprovable faith tenets? Hmmm--an ANTI-spiritual journey is still a journey--mine was rationalist/materialist/atheist to college-weekend-hippie/Hindu-wannabe to COG. There the Scriptues led me OUT to a genuine r'ship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for thirty years.

Oh, yeah--I forgot--after atheism/agnosticism (and Aldous Huxley coined that word, because he rejected Hinduism and its like out-of-hand----"a"-gnostic equals "not Gnostic".)atheism and its minor syllogisms held no logical water for me, and I was nihilistic (philosophically, belief that no overarching explanatory paradigm exists, so that the post_Christian assumption that all there is is chaos, plus time, plus chance), which is what made me an easy victim for Hinduism (god with amnesia).

I've been away awhile with health and computer problems.

"All things are relative"--is that a relative statement?

"I'm absolutely sure that there are no absolutes"--Can I be absolutely sure about that?

Ta--gotta go!

Love y'all! That's onlt singular in EAST Texas; I'm still pluggin away here in Houston!
