If nothing else, I can tell you guys that what happened in the Soapbox forum had nothing to do with your cult background. Every political forum I ever managed or participated in went that way.
They say that two topics that must never be brought up in polite conversation are politics and religion.
I guess that when we try to tackle both it becomes extra difficult.
