Double bind

Scenario 1 (current scenario):

Acheick has said she does not want to come to the boards, and Carol, who she mentions by name, is also no interested in coming to the boards anymore. We don't need 3rd parties who weren't even there (behind the scenes) to post and answer the ensuing discussions on her behalf.

Scenario 2:

Acheick and/or Carol are willing to come to the boards. This is still a matter for settling in private.

Your husband once said that when inaccuracies are posted and left unchallenged, they get accepted as gospel truth. So if the coordinators feel there are inaccuracies, they would have to speak up and clarify what they disagree with. That would be fair enough, but there is a catch to this: in order to clarify those inaccuracies, we'd have to reveal information we have agreed to keep private on our discussion forum. It's not that we're afraid of anything, but for example, setting the record straight could be very embarrassing for certain 3rd parties.

We appreciate Acheick's hard work, and I personally, and I can speak for several of us, are sad it came "down to this." The claim however, that she is being persecuted for her regained Christian faith, is completely untrue. She was not shut down. She quit and left. It is her opinion she was squeezed out, but it isn't the opinion of at least some if not all the other coordinators who were there.
