I don't know. If I thought it was a good idea to post it, I probably would have done it myself either here or NDN.

It is a little odd because you have some people with total access, some with limited access (I guess I'd fall in here), and others with no access.

We would get into this kind of thing at NDN during the days when everything was in turmoil all the time. I had total access there, but had a hard time remembering what had been disclosed in public, what was in email, and what we had talked about in our private forum. Sometimes I would think that everybody on the board knew what was going on, but they didn't. So, there ended up being confusion and some complaints of too much secrecy.

I've had all kinds of experiences with the person in question. Most people here probably just know about some of our brawls on the open boards. But, what some don't know is that we have been guests a number of times in each other's homes. We have gone out and had dinner. Our spouses even knew each other many years ago in The Family. There would be times when we were just killing each other on the open boards, but there would be some issue going on that had an effect on both the websites that we would hash out very cordially, in private.

At this point, I feel like I know her pretty well, and if there is one thing I know for sure, if she has something she wants to say, she's going to say it.

The whole thing is kind of sad. At NDN we've had this kind of thing happen too. Heck, I quit NDN at least twice, if not three times. Nobody thought there would ever be a NDN without Barney. But, these websites take on a life of their own after a while and can become bigger than the people who started them.
