you keep saying something logical, that email between parties should be enough for these exchanges.
but you forget that some with our background are accustomed to crusades and there are some with the martyr syndrome. People with martyr syndrome may have an unconscious or conscious desire to be watched as they suffer as "martyrs" for what they imagine or allege is their cause.
This board then becomes the arena for such a spectacle, where all the drama can be enacted, since farewell letters on email do not provide anything close to such theatrical and virtually public entertainment.
Forget logic and facts and truth.
