This person must have been told to give it up precisely for the reasons you state. It is also bringing too much light on a thorny topic.
They are taking advantage of the many former members who were heavily involved in FFing don't want to be reminded that they were prostitutes. Also, many have reconstructed their life and would lose too much. The bastards know that and exploit it trying to sweep things under the rugs.
The author of Heaven's Harlot was courageous but she is in the minority and even then, they would still ask her to produce proof. Look at the way this person has been dealing with Cassandra.
