the show was about various kids from different cults.
She told the story (whatever she could say in a short time about her odyssey) and put a plug to find her mother.
Later they also filmed the moment when she met her mother.
Her mother told me that day she was flipping through channels and by chance saw the program. She said she saw a blonde girl (she had not seen her daughter in years) and all of a sudden realized that girl was HER daughter when Merry gave details about her past and her parents.
