How do you know that it is a lie? It is clear that we do not yet have enough evidence yet to state with absolute certainty that Karen Zerby financed her parents acquisition of the property. This does not mean that the allegation is untrue, just that it has not yet been proved beyond a reasonable doubt. Automatically jumping to the conclusion that the allegation is a lie which cannot ever be proved true is faulty logic.
