Ours was a similiar experience to yours. We didn't bump into any of the abusers that others have. Fortunately, too, we weren't around any combos, they hadn't happend by the time we left. We were in simple field homes simply trying to make it. We were faithful to school our kids, take them witnessing, have wonderful free days with them, spend time praying with them, reading to them at night, etc....There were no separations. I guess we had it pretty good even though we were being boiled without knowing it.
