Man. I've seen and experienced some fucked, fucked, fucked up shit happen in TF. However, kidnapping?! Coercion, possibly. Strong coercion even. But I think that the use of the word "kidnap" exaggerates the scenarios and could/would incline some readers (and I've heard this from people whose understanding of TF/COG come solely from the internet and sites like this) to consider all accountings of activities in the cult posted on the internet as angry, vindictive and exaggerated stories from disgruntled ex-members.
Am I out of line for feeling this way? Should we just go ahead and use their own weapon against them and try to manipulate the mainstream understanding of who and what they are by whatever means necessary and worry about getting the facts straight later?
