The thing that hurts the most is that they are 'buying' TF and Zerby' s lies.
There are so many terribly abused women and children in families that look great 'on the outside.' But ultimately saying what she says about her nephew she takes the most convenient stand, money wise and conscience wise.

Rick gets one more stab, thank God nobody can hurt him any longer. No wonder he felt what he had been through could not be communicated.
I am sure his own aunt would not have liked to ever hear it. People do not want to hear or believe atrocities. They would rather blame the victims. It is so much simpler, and it puts their heart quickly at peace. It is much harder to wrestle with the knowledge of what Rick said in his video:
"I know how ugly humans can get."

IF only they would hear him.
