Why I honestly can't give

I understand your frustration, John, that so few are giving & believe me if I had ANY money to send for Ricky's memorial I'd send it, but I am so behind money-wise that I can't afford much-needed dental work for myself or for my kids. I desperately need fillings, I have big holes in our teeth & we can't afford them. We have no money.

I don't know where you buy your clothes but for the last 10 or so years my wife & I have ONLY bought clothes for ourselves & our kids in second-hand stores. We NEVER buy new clothes. We don't take vacations because we can't afford the gas let alone a hotel room. I like wine but I only buy a small bottle every 2 months only because I think it's robbing my kids otherwise. I can't even afford a cheap haircut. We barely rent videos for entertainment. We only buy meat if it's on sale.

I loved your first letter of apology where you took the humble road & did so much to restore relations between FGs & SGs. But your last letter now seems to be saying that you are the only good FG & all the rest of us are do-nothings who don't care. Some of us have really sacrificed to care for our own kids & I for own would give if I had any cash, but I just can't.
