I'll post it here for you:

That was very well written and commendable on your part. You are very courageous. I think you've stated things pretty clearly and see things pretty clearly. I apologize for all that you suffered, your sisters suffered, your wife, etc. I'm glad you have clarified things from your original post. I'm not quite sure what you meant to gain from that, but if it's healing to you, then I'm glad you did it.

Just so you know, all that joined in the beginning weren't all crazed hippies. Yes, hippiedom was the rule of the day and there was a lot of permissiveness going on, there was a huge rebellion going on against parents, shamefullness of the simplest things, boring church services run by hypocritical people, etc. And yes, that generation went way overboard on that rebellion and we are paying for it today still and not just in cults, etc. but in our society.

However, many of us did not join as hippies, but joined out of a sincere desire to follow God and felt that TF was a place we could do that and truly help people. This whole thing did not start off as a sex cult or with sexual permissiveness as its basic premise, in fact, it was just the opposite. That's what we joined, what it turned into later is a whole other enchilada. I just wanted to clarify that.
