I recently found out that my stepfather burned almost all my childhood pictures and those of my siblings. This was 14 years worth of pictures. What I don't know is why. Did the Family tell its members to burn pictures of children?
I just can't understand why. What were they thinking? How could this help them? These weren't pictures like some of the ones in the Davidito book - just ordinary childhood pictures.
It's ironic because if my stepfather hadn't burned those pictures, he could probably use them now to settle a lawsuit and save himself from going to jail.
